The Better World Investor’s Guide:
The information you are about to read in this document is unlike the normal information you would probably think about when seeking investment for your own project or enterprise, or when considering making any significant investment of
money, time, ideas or other resources into a project or enterprise.
Let’s say, to start the ball rolling, that there were five or six major factors which led to and then triggered the current global economic difficulties we hear about on the TV news each night. Obviously anyone who had poured a significant amount of money and other resources into any business project or enterprise just prior to the recent global economic crash would subsequently have experienced one of the following results:
- A few would have made a killing – the global financial catastrophe would have worked in their favour. Indeed there are a number of extremely serious investigations underway, at least by independent investigators if not by the mainstream authorities, which allege that the current global financial crisis is something that was engineered by those few who made a fortune, simply in order to enable those few to increase both their fortunes and their control of the world’s economy and its people. These are obviously extremely serious allegations indeed, which may or may not be justified.
- As a result of this rapid economic downturn, many who did not directly profit from it financially experienced either no noticeable change in their lifestyle because they had a financial cushion, or they experienced some degree of financial difficulty that was not welcomed by them, but which was, however, easily tolerated by them ~ because they had a financial cushion.
- Many others would have experienced modest to severe financial hardships, which basically changed or even put an end to their normal way of living, and moved them a little closer to living in poverty or even pushed them into actually living in poverty.
- Many many more people who were already living in relative poverty or extreme poverty will also have noticed very little difference to their lives. Their personal circumstances were in many cases about as bad as they could be for human beings and any adverse impact on these people caused directly or indirectly by this global economic meltdown was, in their eyes, just one more difficulty to add to their existing pile of difficulties.
- Many other people actually died as a direct result of the events leading up to and following the financial collapse, which generally hit the world stage in September 2008 when the American financial system began to tumble like a house of cards. (And if the allegations referred to in “i” above are justified, then these are the people who were killed in order that those few people in “i” could make a killing)
OK – let’s put the allegations referred to in “1” aside for the time being. The point I would like to raise ~ for the moment ~ by explaining the above is this:
“If, prior to September 2008, you knew that money you were about to invest into a well thought out business project was about to go down the toilet because the project would fail, THROUGH NO FAULT OF THE PEOPLE WHO PLANNED THE PROJECT, would you still have put your money into that project?”
The answer is probably “No” ~ but please just think about that question as you read through this document.
LIES, TRUTHS & THE STORIES IN BETWEEN:
Now two of the fairly self-evident major factors which led to the current global economic climate were (and to some extent still are):
- The spread of panic and fear throughout the world of business
- The way in which the media reported the various STORIES about real and imagined events that were actually taking place, or which might take place around the world.
OK – let’s just pause there for a moment.
The reason I have written the word STORIES in capital letters is because when people communicate information about any given event ~ past, current or future ~ they basically only have three options about what kind of information they communicate.
In short, we can tell each other:
- TRUTHS …or
- STORIES …or
- LIES
It is important to note, for this whole document to make sense, that from a very early age almost all of us have found it very comfortable to be told STORIES. We like STORIES.
We find STORIES very acceptable, and are always hungry for more because they are superb tools for keeping us ENTERTAINED and we love being ENTERTAINED.
Generally speaking, we do not like to be told LIES – because most of us have the common sense not to invest our money, time or other resources into a LIE.
On the other hand, for some bizarre reason, many of us find it hard to be told plain and simple TRUTHS, unless those truths are “sugar coated” in some way.
Clearly this is because if you have invested your time, money, energy, passion, even your entire life into one or more STORIES, you naturally want to feel that you have done all the due diligence you should have done to be certain that you have not actually invested in just a bunch of STORIES. You want to feel that you have actually invested in one or more TRUTHS.
You want to have made a good and wise investment and if you suddenly find that you have invested all you have invested in a bunch of STORIES instead of actual TRUTHS, then that will almost certainly make you feel uncomfortable, hurt, angry etc.
We all NATURALLY want to make good and wise investments – whether the thing we invest is money or not – and very very few of us will consciously make any kind of investment into one or more LIES, even if we stand to gain from that, because deep down most human beings are in fact extremely decent people.
Fundamentally, in our heart of hearts we are something more than mere Human Beings, we are in fact, at the very least, Naturally Humane Beings – and it is that fact that makes it hard for most of us to invest in one or more LIES – even if we stand to gain from supporting those LIES.
However, we all know that it is a TRUTH that there are people in the world who can have an impact on our lives, and who go against our essential Humane Nature because they think, speak and act in ways that are patently Inhumane. But please remember that it is actually our nature to naturally choose to consciously invest only in TRUTHS.
So if people who are behaving like “Inhumane Beings” want us to “buy into something” which is actually based on one or more LIES, the simple fact is that the only way they can succeed in doing so is to cause us to buy into one or more STORIES which we are willing to accept as complete TRUTHS, even when they are not.
OK – back to the main thread of this document.
During this very brief three to six year period in the history of humankind and this planet there are several important TRUTHS, STORIES and LIES which any investor would be well advised to do their best to take into account before making a major investment of their money or other resources into ANY project affecting themselves, other people and the wider environment.
- That said, it is highly likely that at the time of writing, (October 2009) that most potential investors and seekers of investment will probably choose to completely ignore the issues raised in this document.
- However, after November 2009 that indifference will almost certainly begin to change, because the entire world is about to be told a number of different STORIES, LIES and TRUTHS in the form of movies and other media, which will start people THINKING.
Now, depending on what we all end up THINKING, in the years leading up to 2012 / 2015 it is very likely ~ perhaps even inevitable ~ that many potential and existing investors as well as anyone seeking investment for their projects will start thinking more and more about the issues raised in this document because of the specific TRUTHS, STORIES and LIES that are about to hit the world stage.
Furthermore, as and when those investors and seekers of investment do start sorting out and taking into account these TRUTHS, STORIES and LIES ~ then depending on their level of thinking as individual human beings ~ they will do one of the following:
- A) React foolishly and panic
- B) Review neutrally and do nothing different (hoping the status quo will continue)
- C) Respond wisely and prepare
PREDICTABLE CONSEQUENCES:
Behaviour “A” above ~ foolishness and panic (via “Level One Thinking”), if widespread, would make the recent Global Economic Crisis look like a timid rehearsal for the main event.
Behaviour “B” above ~ neutrality and indifference (via “Level Two Thinking”) is likely to be widespread, and of itself it is not usually regarded as being a “bad” thing to do, but it is perhaps not the best thing to do, all things considered.
Behaviour “C” above ~ wise preparation (via “Level Three Thinking”) is the most appropriate response to dealing with these issues – and whilst responding wisely and preparing appropriately are not necessarily easy things to do, they are doable things and they are always the best thing to do.
If option “A” above proves to be the case, and people react foolishly and panic, then that is likely to seriously threaten the viability of many new and existing enterprises or projects, from the building of holiday resorts, theme parks, commercial centres and universities to the construction and regeneration of housing estates, entire cities or even nations.
The purpose of this document, therefore, is to present relevant information for actual or potential investors into ANY enterprise or project that will encourage and hopefully help both investors and seekers of investment alike to engage in “Level Three Thinking” and thereby enable themselves to act as wisely as possible, all things considered.
So let’s dive straight in and look at the key themes about to hit the world stage, and about which various TRUTHS, STORIES and LIES will soon be communicated to us all.

ONE MAIN THEME: FIVE KEY ISSUES:
In November 2009 Sony Pictures will release worldwide a new mega-disaster movie entitled, “2012”, which will encapsulate within itself a number of different STORIES.
Because this is essentially a piece of ENTERTAINMENT, the movie will of course be a deliberate mix of LIES (fictions) and TRUTHS (actual facts). And that mix should make this movie a powerful vehicle for telling STORIES that will also start people THINKING.
After that movie has been released, along with the inevitable global publicity and hype that will go with it, millions and perhaps even billions of people around the world, who previously may not have had the faintest idea about the real historical and current information upon which this fictional movie is loosely based, will start to think about 2012 and the possible ramifications of the end of the Mayan long count calendar.
And those millions of people who are suddenly made aware of the historical and factual basis behind this fictional movie, at least at an internal level (in their own minds), will do one of the following:
- React foolishly and panic
(“The best thing to do is to Protect Self Alone and Sink Lower by being more Competitive!” This is a LIE)
- Review neutrally and do nothing different
(“There is no substance to this, so we don’t need to do anything about it and the status quo will continue!” This is a STORY that we tell ourselves about many things, usually to stay within our own comfort zones)
- Respond wisely and prepare
(“The best thing to do is to Protect All Life and Rise Higher, by being more Compassionate!” This is a TRUTH)
As previously stated, I am suggesting that the best course of action to take, as the many TRUTHS, LIES and STORIES begin to circulate, is to respond wisely and prepare.
I am therefore writing this document in the hope that it helps you to do that.
LIFE ON EARTH BEYOND 2015:
OK – So the main topics or themes ~ about which myriad LIES, STORIES and TRUTHS will soon enter the public arena ~ are as follows:
1) Whether or not there actually will be a physical and extremely violent pole-shift of at least 16 to 17 degrees of latitude, occurring within 24 hours or less, and happening at some time in the next six years, as predicted long ago by the Maya people and other cultures.
2) Whether or not the event itself, or at least the levels of hardship that would result from this catastrophic event, may be averted.
3) If the event itself may be averted, precisely how might it be averted.
4) If it may not be averted, then what is the most appropriate thing for human beings to do FROM NOW ON in order to minimise suffering and to prepare for dealing with this event itself, as well as the continuation of life after this event.
5) What kind of world we will co-create for ourselves after 2015 (at the latest) ~ regardless of whether this event takes place or not.
I suggest that the bottom line in all of this is to concentrate on “5” above.
Doing this is, I suggest, will always be the wisest and most appropriate thing to do, all things considered.
Now once the broad theme of “2012 / Physical Earth Changes” is on the common table, whatever any individual, organisation, group, community, government or nation does or does not do will largely be a gamble, a bet or an investment based on:
WHAT THEY CHOOSE TO BELIEVE and WHAT THEY CHOOSE TO DISBELIEVE.
You, reading this, may already BELIEVE or DISBELIEVE something about this subject and what may or may not be about to happen. Even if you have never heard of this topic before, simply reading what you have read so far in this document may have already caused you to form internal OPINIONS or BELIEFS about whether this topic is one worth exploring further or not.
Indeed in keeping with the STORIES and Hollywood theme, if you are familiar with a movie called, “The Matrix”, and can identify yourself as being the character “Neo”, (played by Keanu Reeves in that movie), then at this exact place in this actual document in your real world, right now, for you this moment in time directly corresponds to the point in the movie where Neo was asked by Morpheus to choose to take the red pill or the blue pill.
In other words, having read this far you can choose to investigate this further, in order to ascertain the TRUTHS for yourself (thus taking the red pill), or you can stop reading now and believe whatever you want to believe (thus taking the blue pill).
DOING THE RIGHT THING
This section is about preparing spiritually, mentally, emotionally, physically, practically and financially to avert or otherwise deal with the predicted “2012” Physical Earth Changes in order to respond as wisely and as appropriately as possible.
Fact One:
Whilst the central date in all of this is 21st December 2012, the Maya actually state that although that is a precisely (and completely accurately) calculated date for some very important cosmic events to take place, the physical earth changes predicted are unlikely to take place on that actual date.

The fact is that it may already be too late to do anything whatsoever to prepare yourself practically or physically for these predicted Earth Changes – IF they are going to happen, of course, and IF we are unable to do anything to prevent them from happening.
This is because we are already in the seven to eight year window referred to by the Maya as “The End Of Time”, which began in 2007 and which can end at any time from 2007 until sometime before the year 2015.
The prediction by the Maya is basically that the crust of the Earth will physically flip within a period of approximately 20 hours, and that that catastrophic event could start happening at any moment.
(It has been suggested that we are looking at a physical shift of some 16 to 17 degrees of latitude, with the new North Pole ending up somewhere in Russia – more details on the videos referred to above)
So if that should happen and the Earth actually does begin to flip ~ say in the next few hours, for example ~ then the only things you will be able to do before this happens, in order to respond wisely and prepare for such an eventuality, are:
1) Pray, meditate or otherwise raise your own level of “Conscious Spirituality” so that you prepare yourself internally to deal with NOT physically surviving this catastrophic event or to help you to have greater levels of “Inner Strength” to deal with whatever you may encounter in the future if you DO physically survive such a catastrophic event.
2) And the quickest way to raise your own level of conscious spirituality is to truly value who you are, as well as truly valuing what you already have, and to genuinely love yourself and those close to you ~ with all your heart.
In short – do not wallow in fear and become Fatalistic… do not submerge yourself in fantasy and thereby support the false or Fantastic…do not even be blindly optimistic or Romantic. (These behaviours support only LIES and STORIES). Instead, DO be truly realistic and thereby genuinely Authentic. (And thus facilitate TRUTH)
BE AUTHENTIC
Ultimately, being authentic is THE MOST PRACTICAL thing that any of us can ever do to deal with this predicted event, or indeed any other event, because doing this shifts us up, individually and collectively, out of LOWER NATURE and into our HIGHER NATURE.
With shaping our future world in mind, I submit that it is a TRUTH that any thoughts we have, words we express and deeds we do emanating from the promptings of our Higher Nature will inevitably cause us to shape a very different world to that which we would co-create for ourselves as a result of going along with the promptings of our Lower Nature.
The world we currently inhabit appears to have largely been shaped by Man going along with the promptings of our Lower Nature – and so that is the main thing that we need to change if we are to survive this and to actually have a world worth living in beyond 2015.
Fact Two:
In addition to doing the above and to keep on doing the above in order to be more and more authentic and thus live in and from our own Higher Nature ~ thus shaping a better world from the inside out ~ it may prove NOT to be too late to do something to AVERT this predicted catastrophe.
In a nutshell, the Maya and others have also predicted that that which MIGHT serve to avert this predicted worldwide catastrophe, or at least reduce the destructive potential (expressed entropy) of such a global event, is the raising of our own Consciousness.
In other words, we will produce the best solution possible by consciously shifting out of our individual and collective Lower Nature into our individual and collective Higher Nature.
Indeed, this may be all that is required to either prevent this physical event from happening in the first place, or to protect one’s self and one’s loved ones both during and after this event, if in fact we are simply unable to prevent a physical pole shift from taking place.
Fact Three:
However, if it does prove to be too late for us to do anything to avert this predicted physical catastrophe happening globally, then it may prove NOT to be too late to do something in specific localities around the world.
And this is where today’s Better World Investors will come into the picture in extremely practical ways, bearing in mind my suggestion that the thing to do is for us all to put our energies into deciding:
5) What kind of world we will co-create for ourselves after 2015 (at the latest) ~ regardless of whether this event takes place or not.
FACTORS TO CONSIDER
If we put the simple financial considerations to one side for the moment, then over and above these economic considerations I submit that the central thing to take into account for anyone who is an actual or potential investor in ANY project ANYWHERE is whether or not you choose to invest in the setting up or continuation of:
- Hellish Hives (in which people would live and work) (Maintaining the LIE)
- Hierarchical Herds (in which people would live and work) (Perpetuating STORIES)
- Heavenly Havens (in which people would live and work) (Being AUTHENTIC)
Now even without fully defining what I mean by these three things, it is hopefully pretty self-evident that every one of us would like to live in some kind of AUTHENTIC and tangible Heavenly Haven right here, right now.
However, the current reality is that most of us go along with the Herd, do our best to perpetuate the Stats Quo, and we live in Hierarchical Societies.
This activity keeps our personal STORIES going which are neither totally Hellish, nor are they wholly Heavenly – they are a paradoxical mixture of the two…and on the whole, things are sort of OK for most people in this kind of reality.
But this actually serves to keep us in a paradoxical reality that is something less than a more paradise like reality that most or all of us intuitively sense that this Earth really could be ~ if we were less Competitive (against each other and the planet) and more Compassionate (caring for each other and the planet).
Being hungry for STORIES instead of TRUTHS keeps us out of living our TRUE LIVES individually and collectively and so we maintain our STORIES so that we may support our organisations and societies that merely perpetuate the common theme of:
“We have to keep these Hierarchical Patterns going, if we want to stay part of the Herd”.
And that is great for hens and horses ~ but we are not hens or horses, we are humans.
So long as we are content to accept our own and other people’s STORIES (which contain a mixture of LIES and TRUTHS) and continue to pretend that these STORIES are TRUTHS, then we will essentially be content to go along, eyes half shut, in the BELIEF that the best thing any of us can do is to practice “Level Two Thinking” and thereby:
- Review all STORIES, TRUTHS and LIES neutrally and do nothing different ~ just carry on as before, hoping the status quo will continue.
And if that is what you want to do – then there is no point in reading any further. This document is not for you. You are not a Better World Investor.
However, if you already know that you actually are a Better World Investor, or even if you just think that you would like to become a Better World Investor then please read on.
This document is for you.
BEING A BETTER WORLD INVESTOR
I was prompted to write this document as a result of hearing about several different projects, each of which is either:
- Seeking significant financial investment or
- About to actually invest significant amounts of investors’ money
This in turn made me think of the question I posed at the beginning of this document, which was:
“If, prior to September 2008, you knew that money you were about to invest into a well thought out business project was about to go down the toilet because the project would fail, THROUGH NO FAULT OF THE PEOPLE WHO PLANNED THE PROJECT, would you still have put your money into that project?”
And given what I have learned over the years, and particularly recently, regarding what is actually going on in the cosmos and on this planet at this truly amazing time in the Earth’s history, I found myself asking another question:
“If, now that we have entered the period of history referred to by the Maya as “The End of Time”, you knew that money you were about to invest into a well thought out business venture might help to minimise suffering, might help to save lives and might also create a safe haven for yourself WOULD YOU STILL INVEST IN THE PROJECT GIVEN THE POSSIBILITY THAT CATASTROPHIC PHYSICAL EARTH CHANGES MIGHT TAKE PLACE IN THE NEXT FEW YEARS?”
I suggest that given all you have read so far, there are three basic answers to that question, which are:
a) If you are used to applying “Level One Thinking”, then out of fear, panic or worry (same thing) you will react in a fatalistic way to that question, and choose NOT to invest anything at all… mainly because you worry, panic or fear that you could lose all of your money. (That’s true, you might – e.g. modern beachfront properties might withstand a Tsunami, but they might not withstand something akin to Noah’s flood).
b) If you are used to applying “Level Two Thinking”, then out of indifference you will react in either a fantastic or romantic way, and choose to invest your money (or not) in any given project or enterprise for romantic reasons or to feed some personal or professional fantasy as if all you need to take into account are the normal Financial Considerations.
(Essentially behaving as if nothing of any substance will change in the world in the near future, and so you would carry on making any investment decisions based on “normal financial considerations” as if the times we are in will basically carry on “as normal” for the foreseeable future ~ Which indeed they might.)
c) If you are used to applying “Level Three Thinking”, however, then out of compassion ~ and for the good of all, which includes you as a Soul ~ then you WILL still choose to invest as much as you feel is truly appropriate to invest in one or more ethical business projects that are genuinely aimed at creating Heavenly Havens on Earth (For a post 2015 world to be a better world than this one). Furthermore, you will do so regardless of whether or not you personally stand to gain anything financially; regardless of whether or not you will even physically survive these events IF indeed they do happen and you will do so regardless of any other consideration other than, “I KNOW IT IS RIGHT FOR ME TO DO THIS”.
